Google’s announcement that it intends to build ultra-fast open access fiber networks is its declaration of war against the potential end of net-neutrality. Further, this is a productive use of Google’s vast stockpile of cash; it’s something tangible it can do to ensure its market position.

For my money, he may have made one of the most successful transitions to the digital medium of any print designer ever; there are scant few print-trained designers of any caliber who can match his canny grasp of what it means to design for the new century.
